Poultrack

Terms

The agreement between you and Poultrack, in plain words.

Summary

  • You must be 18 or over and have the right to use Poultrack for your farm or business.
  • You own your records. We look after them and you can take them with you.
  • Prices, the processing fee and renewals are shown before you pay. There are no hidden fees.
  • Poultrack is a platform. Buyers, sellers, vets and delivery partners are responsible for what they do.

Version 2.5 · Effective 1 November 2026

This agreement applies to Poultrack, a product of Bahman Limited (RC 8691357) ("Poultrack", "we", "us", "our") and to the websites, web app, mobile apps and related services we provide (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Notice, Refund Policy and Cookie Notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Who can use Poultrack

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to make a binding agreement.
  • If you sign up for a business, you confirm you can bind it to these Terms.
  • The information you give us must be true and kept up to date. Giving false registration, licence or identity details is a breach of these Terms and may be reported.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password private, use a strong one, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account. We may ask you to confirm your email address or identity before you can use some features.

One person, one account. You may not sell, share or transfer your account.

Account types, owners and teams

Poultrack has farm owners, farm staff (managers, workers and accountants), service providers (vets and delivery partners), suppliers and buyers.

  • A farm owner controls the farm account, its records, its team and its plan. The owner decides what each team member can see and do and may remove anyone at any time. The owner is responsible for what their team does in the account.
  • Managers, workers and accountants join a farm through the owner's invitation or the farm code. They use the farm's plan. They have no ownership of the farm's records.
  • Service providers, suppliers and buyers use their own accounts.

Verification

To keep buyers, sellers and money safe we check registration numbers, licences and identity documents. Some features, such as receiving payouts and selling on the marketplace, may need a verified account. We may refuse, remove or ask you to redo a verification. A "verified" mark means we checked a document, not that we endorse the person or their goods and services.

Plans, renewals, cancellation and VAT

Every farm account is free for 30 days from sign-up, with no payment details. After that there are paid plans. What each includes and its price in naira are on our Pricing page, and shown again before you pay. The price shown includes no hidden charges. Value-added tax at the rate the law sets (currently 7.5%) is added where it applies, and is shown at checkout.

  • Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. We show the renewal date in the app and remind you before a plan renews.
  • You can cancel at any time under Plan and billing. You keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for, then your account stays open to view and download, but adding new records needs a plan. We do not delete your records when a plan ends.
  • The 30 free days need no payment details and end by themselves. You are not charged unless you choose a paid plan. When they end, your farm stays open to view and download, and adding records needs a plan.
  • Paying yearly costs 12 times the monthly price, taken as one payment. The prices on our Pricing page are launch prices, 25% below the standard prices we plan to charge later, and we tell you at least 30 days before any price changes.
  • A plan limit, such as the number of flocks, only stops you adding more. It never deletes or hides what you already have.
  • We may change plan prices or what a plan includes. We tell you at least 30 days before a change affects you, and you can cancel before it does.

Refunds are covered in the Refund Policy.

The marketplace, deliveries and vet services

Poultrack connects people. Unless we say so for a specific transaction, we are not the seller, buyer, vet or carrier. The contract is between the people involved.

  • Sellers must be entitled to sell what they list, describe it accurately, hold any licence the law requires (for example NAFDAC registration for feed and veterinary drugs), keep stock levels right and deliver as agreed.
  • Buyers must pay for what they order and check goods when they arrive. Report problems the same day for perishable goods such as eggs and live birds.
  • Vets must be properly registered with the Veterinary Council of Nigeria and must give advice with the care expected of their profession. Advice given through Poultrack is the vet's own.
  • Delivery partners must hold the licences and insurance the law requires for the goods and vehicles they use and must handle goods with care.
  • We may remove a listing, job or account that breaks these Terms or the law.

Things that may not be listed or done

  • Anything illegal, stolen, counterfeit, expired, contaminated or unsafe.
  • Veterinary drugs or feed additives that need a prescription or licence, unless the seller is licensed to sell them.
  • Misleading descriptions, fake reviews, hidden fees, or pressure tactics.
  • Moving payment or arrangements outside Poultrack to avoid commission on a deal started on Poultrack.

Payments, processing fee and payouts

Online payments are taken by our licensed payment partner, Paystack, under its own terms. When a payment is made through Poultrack, we collect it on the seller's behalf, keep our processing fee of 2.5%, and the rest is the seller's share. If the seller has added a bank account, the payment is split when it is made: our fee comes to us and the seller's share goes straight to their bank account. Otherwise the share is shown as earnings in the app until it is paid out.

  • The processing fee is 2.5% of each payment made through Poultrack, apart from plan subscriptions, which carry no fee. It is shown as Processing fee in the app. We tell you at least 30 days before we change it, and a change does not apply to payments already made.
  • To take earnings out, add a bank account in your name and request a payout. The smallest payout is shown in the app. We send it by bank transfer, usually within one working day, and may check your account first.
  • We may hold or refuse a payout where there is a dispute, a chargeback or reversal, a suspected fraud or a legal reason, and we will tell you why.
  • If a payment is reversed after you were paid, we may take the amount back from later earnings or ask you to repay it.
  • You are responsible for any tax you owe on money you earn, and for the accuracy of the invoices you issue.

Your records and content

Your records and anything you upload are yours. You give us the right to store, process and display them as needed to provide the Services to you and the people you choose to share them with, and as set out in our Privacy Notice. You promise that you have the right to enter the information, including information about other people.

You can download your data at any time and close your account in Settings.

When we handle other people's data for you

When you record information about other people in Poultrack (customers, workers, suppliers, and so on), you are the controller of that information and Poultrack is your processor. This section is our processing agreement with you.

What we promise

  • We process that information only on your instructions, which are what you do in the Services, and to provide them.
  • Everyone at Poultrack who can reach it is bound by confidentiality.
  • We keep it secure, as set out in our Privacy Notice.
  • We use only the sub-processors listed in the Privacy Notice, under written terms that give the same protection, and we tell you if we add or replace one.
  • We help you answer people who ask to see, correct or delete their information, and we help with breaches and impact assessments, at no extra charge for ordinary requests.
  • We tell you without undue delay, and within 72 hours, if we learn of a breach that affects it.
  • When you close your account we delete or return it, as the Privacy Notice sets out, unless the law makes us keep it.
  • We will give you the information you reasonably need to check that we are keeping to this section.

What you promise

  • You have a lawful basis for putting the information in, and you have told the people concerned, for example your workers and customers, that you do.
  • Where the law needs consent, for example for a worker under 18, you have it.
  • What you enter is accurate, and you do not enter sensitive personal data without need and a proper basis.
  • You use the access controls to give each team member only what their role needs.

Using the Services properly

You agree not to:

  • break the law, or help someone else to;
  • try to get into accounts, systems or data you are not allowed to access, or test our security without our written permission;
  • upload malware or anything meant to harm the Services or other people;
  • copy, scrape or resell the Services or marketplace data in bulk;
  • harass or threaten others, or post unlawful or hateful content;
  • use the Services in a way that puts an unreasonable load on them.

To report a concern or a security weakness, use the contact page.

Alerts, forecasts and no professional advice

Alerts, estimates and reports are produced from the records you enter and are only as good as those records. They are not veterinary, financial, legal or tax advice. Decisions about your birds, feed, medicines and money remain yours.

You remain responsible for reporting notifiable animal diseases, such as avian influenza, to the proper authorities, and for following the animal health, food safety and environmental laws that apply to you. Poultrack does not do this for you.

Availability and offline use

The apps are built to save records on your device and sync when there is a connection. We work to keep the Services available but cannot promise they will never be interrupted or error-free. We may pause them for maintenance, security or reasons outside our control. Use the download tools to keep copies of records that matter.

Third-party services

The Services depend on providers such as hosting, email and payment services. We are not responsible for services we do not control, and their own terms apply to your use of them.

Our property

Poultrack, its name, logo, software, design and content belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Services while you follow these Terms. Anything not said to be yours is ours. Credits and licences for fonts, maps and software are on our Licences page.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without paying you or crediting you.

Suspension and ending

You may stop using Poultrack and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account, or remove content, if you break these Terms or the law, if we must by law, if it is needed to protect people or the platform, or if the account has been inactive for a long time after we warn you. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right, and let you download your data.

Sections that by their nature should continue after the account ends, such as those on payments owed, liability and disputes, continue.

What we are and are not responsible for

The Services are provided "as is" to the extent the law allows. We are not responsible for what buyers, sellers, vets, delivery partners or other users do, for goods, advice and deliveries arranged through the platform, or for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen or prevented, such as loss of expected profit or of birds.

Nothing in these Terms removes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer under Nigerian consumer protection law. Subject to that, our total liability to you for anything arising from the Services in any 12 months is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in those 12 months and ₦100,000.

You agree to repay us for losses, claims and costs we suffer because you broke these Terms or the law, or because of your content or your sales.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If there is a problem, please contact us first so we can try to settle it. If that does not work within 30 days, the courts of Nigeria will have jurisdiction, subject to any right you have as a consumer to bring a claim elsewhere.

Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. We tell you at least 30 days before a change that affects you, by email or in the app, and we may ask you to accept the new version before you carry on. If you do not agree, you can close your account.

General

  • These Terms, with the policies they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Services.
  • If part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
  • You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours to a business that takes over Poultrack, if it keeps to these Terms.
  • You agree that we may give you notices electronically.
